We've all had Aces cracked a time or a thousand. The thing is that your odds of winning, even with Aces, drops sharply with each player that comes into the pot. So raising to limit the number of players getting involved in the pot is essential. Remember, the perception of value from having more players in the pot is an illusion. One player calling a 3x raise is adding the same amount of chips to the pot as three players limping.
I try to play every hand the same way, so as not to give away the strength of my hand, with Aces being the exception. With most of my range, I'm going to raise 3x + 1x for each limper in front of me up to 5x. With Aces, however, I will generally raise 3x + 1x for each limper in front of me with no limit, or I may even double the pot if there are too many players trying to get involved. No slow play, though.
How I play Aces after the flop will depend on a number of factors like board texture, the number of players in the hand, position, and the style of my opponent or opponents. I hate to give anyone a free card to beat me with, but on the right board, I might check/raise as opposed to leading right out.
