I was told to pot it too get max value for my hands, what I'm trying to ask is, by me hitting pot button, would we not have to have an opponent who actually has a nice/combo draw to be able to play back against us? Or is it just mash the pot button with your big hands to charge them to draw, I only ask cuz I don't want to lose value for nice hands, like earlier I lost value on quads (Well kinda hard to gain anything on quads when players have nothing, but I tried and hit that pot button and they folded )
So then this hand comes up and our opponent hits the pot button so I figured they have to have something that bets pot on flop so I hit pot button, and they did but what I'm wondering is exactly who/what types of opponent do we hit the pot button against and what type don't we hit it against?

I understand this is ok to pot it right, but what about when your opponent isn't taking such a strong stance
