I'm a newb at PLO, played 700 hands last night (was on tilt in my normal NLHE game) mostly at 50nl, this was my first foray above penny ante - good session, great break from my normal grind - I've got Jeff Hwang's first book, what else should I be looking at? Are any of the training sites better than the others at Omaha?

Make sure you read all of Jeff's book but keep in mind that it was not written with micro stakes in mind. Games are very loose even compared to what he talks about when he says loose. OIf course this is good for a medium experienced player just be care using these strategies at micro when you are new. Like any other game people will call anything and at PLO they have a much greater hand of turning crap into the winner.

I found all the members here to be a great help when talking about PLO and Omaha Planet has some good articles too.

this is a link that might help

Ok i uploaded a $109 PLOH8 MTT i won for $2.4k yesterday to an instant hand replyer to give anyone wanting to learn PLOH8 some material.

It shows every hand not just the winning hands which i find helpful.

I get lucky early on trying to chip up but feel i played it good from there on out.

The link is to instant hand replayer on PXF training site , you need to join the forum (but not the pay section) to view it.

Some decisions will seem -EV but i had my reasoning so will try and add a voiceover later in the week.
