Hey gang... Hope you're running well at the tables and building your bankrolls to go and take a shot at the big boys Got a question for all of you who have families (wife, kids etc) girlfriends don't necessarily count unless you plan on having them around long term. How do you all balance family time with your time on the tables and studying? Learning PLO, balancing family time and a full time job is a big problem for me these days and I wanted to know how you guys did it. Right now, I'm learning that I can multi table for about an hour and a half and then my table performance begins to decline. By then, it's time for family time but I'm still thinking about my session to be really engaged. I'm either pissed that I lost a session or I'm thinking about a hand I played during a winning session. My family notices it but I don't. I really want to get good enough at this game to potentially use it as supplemental income but not at the risk of losing those who care the most about me and my well-being.
