The best way is to read books about poker. You can read polished poker. It's good because it has workbook with questions and exercises. So you can read and practice in this way. I think it is a good way to keep in conditions and improve skills in your situation!

I've already read that book, and yes, this was one of the best I ever read.

Just take some videos of poker to your pc, like ept, and just watch u don't need internet for that if you have the videos in your pc... I'm without poker since june and i'm okay playing playmoney but tournaments of 1M.... Because now in portugal is now ilegal, and pokerstars is applying for an online gamming license... and are with 5 months inative, and I improve my game by see a lot of videos of ept for example, so 20 days is nothing...
Remember we have always to adjust our satrategy to the game, we have some difficulties, your difficulty for now is 20 days without poker, iin january a lot of people will have difficulty to play without HUD's, and they need to change the strategy to win... So good luck :D

-Read a book
-Play a live game
-Practice you outs counting and hand odds calculating.

One thing I used to do by myself was to deal out 6 hands. Then take a look at each hand and determine if it was a stay[likely to limp in or raise/call a raise] or fold hand. Then, I'd deal the flop and take a look at each hand that stayed in and calculate how many outs they need to improve and the hand odds they were getting. I try to familiarize myself with reading the board with different hands, counting outs, and calculating their chances of improving as fast as i can.

Some awesome replies here, should keep ya sorted.

My tip. Try and remember some of your bad beats, positional plays and of course the wins.
I find going over my bad beats and the positional plays that had a bad outcome, to figure out leaks and improve my game mentally.

Go to a casino/ read a book not necessarily about poker, any that makes you interested and kills time will do. Working out would be a good activity to do, too.

When in need of suggestions

bone up on your reading. my suggestions would be to read " The Raiser's Edge written by Elky Grospellier " , " The Mental Game of Poker 1 and 2 written by Jared Tendler"." Kill Phil and the sequel, Kill Everyone: Advanced Strategies for No-limit Hold 'em PokerTournaments and Sit-n-Go's". Make sure you take a deck of cards with you. You might meet a few friends where your going, but mostly eat right, exercise and relax. Keep your body in shape and your head in the game. Have fun

Daniel Negreanu says just watching people and trying to figure out is good for getting your reads. He has anecdotes about good reads he had as a kid just form observing people.

It will be good for you to read and study all you can during those 20 days, but also let those days be a break and try not to think about poker all the time. Try to find other things to do. Well whatever you do, I'm sure you will start back and do great.

Have to review those theories again by reading poker books.

Being offline, look for a poker room near you just to apply those theories- counting outs, calculating pot odds and reading people, etc.
