Lookin for useful input:
So when I first started playing, I was a very loose, calling station kind of player. I'd bet if I hit anything on the board and would call all day. I quickly learned how little I knew and started studying and playing online (my usual live games are home-hosted tournament style games played for points over the course of the year).
Over the last year +, I've learned a lot and really tightened up my play. I've made some money in the home games, and generally gotten better.
But the guys in my games still consider me to be playing loose.. . I'm not getting the "respect" I think my raises need (for blind stealing for example) and often have to c-bet on the high end post-flop. . how best can I take advantage of this?

Laugh as they call your value bets when drawing dead. just play straightforward. if they're going to call you whenever you raise, what more could you ask for?

The problem seems to be that you want to have your cake and eat it too. You want the others to call when you're strong but also to let you steal / push them off hands more easily when you aren't.

Showdown

Since you want to gain respect and you mentioned that u tightened up your game which will help, but try to play more solid, by that i mean play more quality hands in position and try to reach showdown with a better hand. This is the best way for a tight player to garner respect. The more quality hands you show during showdown the more respect you'll get in the future with the same group of players. once you build your reputation like this they surrender their blind more often. :D

Take advantage of their image of you. Adjust to it. Go for value. Let them out play themselves as long as you can.
