is it good to only play premium hands and is it worth it to raise every time you get one?

If you are playing micro stake full ring games, then yes. It also depends on what position you are in as to what a premium hand is. I'd suggest looking up a recent starting hand chart. This will give you a good starting point.

When you are just starting out you should stick to premium hands, raising with them depends on if anyone has raised before you, and your position, and based on other players, and how you play post flop, etc. Thus why starting out you should stick to premium hands.

If you're asking this question, then the answer is probably "yes" for both.

But the truly correct answer to super general questions like these is always going to be "it depends".

It depends. Every situation is different your opponents, position, stack sizes, percieved image, match flow and a whole lot of other things to consider.
