I RARELY step out of line. bluffing is something I don't do often. I don't like to enter pots unless I have something worth entering. I use position to adjust my range which is already small.

Playing in position helps to make better decisions, regardless of the strength of the cards.
The most advantageous position is the button. As you know, trade preflop starts the first player to the left of the big blind, and the player finishes in the big blind. After the flop the last bet will be on the button. In addition, the button - an excellent position to "steal":) the blinds using bluff and semi-bluff, especially in tournament play.

On account of the position, Yes, I agree. Your position gives You a 30% possibility to win the pot. The rest depends on Your strategy.

Playing in position is always good because you always act later in hand than your opponent and you can get some information about your opponents hand by the way they played it.

I like playing from position , who doesn't . But in micros many don't respect it , many donkey bets , so , especially in cash games ,I should be more carefull and then use position to extract the maximum , blufs not so usual on zoom micros , on others it depends on opponents , pattern of board , previous action for me . Better on tournaments , not so on freerolls . :)

Position has become even more evident and important the better player I have become. You have to pay attention to position in smaller pots as these are the ones your going to steal easily with one or two person in the pot on your c-bet. The more ppl in a hand the more your have had to hit the flop or have more draws. Position is super important when 3-betting and 4-betting.
Also just calling out of position is always a good way to trap some players if you can get there cheap. If there are a lot of calling stations at my table I will try to take more flops by limping and hammering my made hands.

I agree with that you say about Zoom. We must analyze the player very well in whatever position we want to take action. In this mode most players enter at least with speculative hands.

If Phil Ivey bets from any position I would fold .lol I think a strong table image can give you more options from any position.I prefer late position, especially if I do not know who I am up against.

Poker is poker...the player/image doesnt scare me or Intimate me. They play with the same 52 cards that I've always played with my whole life! I don't change my game up whether I'm playing against a pro or playing at a home game! I stick to my rules, I play my position hard, poker is poker :)

Position is important but really has no meaning to those who have no idea what "position" really means.

The player in position is usually the player last to act on the table.

Truth! Playing position and "real poker" only seems to work against other "real" poker players!

how one play ones position often depends on how the player before you plays and what cards you got. Position is absolutely very important.
