what is your imput on the best way to play the nuts on the flop in either cash or tournaments and does the seat position make a difference how you play

Depends on position, and above all the players at the table and how they react to reraises etc. Not really enough info here to make a solid determination. In general, if you have a few players that will go along with a big raise/reraise, then go for it. If you are at a table where a few players will call to see the next card, then a med-size bet can work well. If you have some passive/trappers in the pot, then check-calling could be more profitable.

It'll depend on board texture a lot (the wetter the board, the faster you want to play the nuts) and opponent type.

I do appreciate that a big raise/reraise would only invite players who have also hit a strong hand, but its too late if no one follows, a check-calling bet could invite more players but it also makes it harder to get all your stack in the pot but it does allow other players to connect, I think you are both correct it does depend a lot on the table and how you perceive other players play

I would over bet if my image was a LAG player that bluff quite often. On the other hand, check-raise is a good option.

I'll go with this .
but having in mind that you have to play them and get paid , put chips on the pot , not slow play them , even if you have the nut flush on the flop , why lose a bet ''turn'' , bet , cause you don't know the cards of the opponent and you don't know if the board cards will get paired if he has set ,etc .
It depends ofcourse on the preflop action . If you have raised you can cbet the nuts and expect a villain'sbluff . If not maybe try check on the flop if the villain is nit , or hand-identifier small donkey bet .
Of course if out of position , if he just checks you raise , if he raise you call , if he min raise you raise . I have failed some times with the nuts , and believe me , it's no good memories , so bet even if the other is very tight , don't give him free cards , I try to remind this to myself all the time :):) :)
I had sets 1 week ago on the flop, full boat on the turn , but I was just checking not to scare him , expecting the other to take the initiative and bet , he did it only on the flop , I lost value , Ihad KK , he had AK , 2K10 rainbow on the flop ,2on the turn ,whatever cardv on the turn, that's no the way to play it , in the end I took only 1/4 of his stack instead of 1/2-2/3 or all????(preflop he reraise me big x3, I thought << now we have ''EL CLASICO , AA-KK ''>>).So don't expect the other to bluff you and take the initiative bets instead of you .

Now if is/it's better than full house and the other HAS NOT bet/raised and the flop is not wet , you can try to play more carefully/less aggressive . In cash games you don't have to be so strict , you can play if you have the nuts a bit less aggressive , but only a bit he?;)

Personally, I bet. I bet when I hit, bet when I miss. I usually structure my bets, betting 1/2 the pot on the flop every time. You should always be careful about telegraphing your hand by changing your bets according to how well you hit the flop. If you are always aggressive it hides the strength of your hands. I think you get more value over the long run leading out.

im just betting only with strong hands because im too low yet =/ its good tactic for me but i know that i could win more with worse hands. Just be agressive after flop imo
