What's your thoughts on this? Keeping it tight in other positions playing high suited cards, QJ, KQ, A10 etc; but playing mostly anything on the button, with the exception of 72, 82 offsuit etc;

it all depends on the players you face against you, it is important to have information from them and to read his play.

I would also like to know what you mean, mode (cash game or MTT)

Very hard to tell online because u have so many players that will play anything at any time. Live play u can read the other players and make better decisions.

Raising any 2 cards from the button followed by a Cbet is profitable, but that doesn't mean you should play any 2 cards, especially on-line where your stats are readily available. If the blinds start to catch on that your ATS is 100% they'll start to play back at you, or float your Cbets. For that reason I like to have something to steal with, high cards, connected cards, pairs, that sort. As far as calling with any two OTB I think that's a bad idea and a bad habit to get into. When you call with any two you'll find yourself in a lot of tough situations where you'll feel obligated to continue but without the confidence you'd have if you played a tighter range of hands. Life is so much easier with nuttier hands.

I think it also depends upon other team, player and what a strategy other person is using.

Like anything else, it depends on your opponents. Also, it depends on your tolerance for risk. Eventually, a good player is going to fire back. Are you prepared to press the action?

I definately think your opponents will sus you out in the end, therefore be carefull. I sometimes throw in a raise with a "anything" hand but keep it to a minimum. Let us know your thoughts, perhaps not in a cash game? GL..............:D:D:D

It depend on many vectors : players on BB and SB, beginning of tournaments or bubble play, stack size...
On cash game, i will be relatively agressive, but always i make attention on callers and on reraisers, using HUD will help very much on theese choices.

Unless you are talking 6-max, you are WAY off all the way around.
AT, QJ early is not tight.

I agree with MediaBLITZ, they seem to be suggesting that ATs, KQs, QJs is tight in other positions - but it isn't if you have 9 players at the table. I definitely increase my range on the button but it also depends in part on how the players in SB and BB play.

I would say more often a bad idea, theirs no harm in mixing it up,
say for example you played queen high with no spec value
then the following time you're dealt it fold if you have had a
few hands, if you're not running well than it would appear
normal by playing your bad hands where as if your raising
a high percent of hands on the button your going to get
re raised alot and out in some tough spots with no equity
or hand value.
so depends on the players range to your immediate left and the table
as a whole
