Actually, you should play loose passive poker against these types. It sounds counter-intuitive, but you have to widen your calling range, be willing to call down a weaker range and keep letting them try to bluff you out when you hold hands strong enough to call as bluff catchers.
Usually, these players will back off when you show strength and you will just get them to fold their junk and they will play back at you with their strong range. You want to set up the environment where they are making plays at you with their entire range, including their junk, when you can call and beat their bluffs.
This is really scary to play this way and it can be high variance, but it is profitable in the long run.
