I am wondering what the proper way is to play AA at a micro cash table is to get the most bang for your buck? Typically going all in on those tables, you do not get followed. However then you risk someone gaining something stronger than your hand on the flop. What is everyones take on this?

Against aggressive players (3barrelers, big bettors) slowplay them , against fish 3bet , if you run into sets or 2 pair on the flop nothing special , just bad luck.

There is no 'proper' way. Play according to the table and its players.

However, I tend to raise 3BBs on average with them if first to act preflop. I will 3-bet, 4-bet, go all in preflop with them against anyone and in any position. On a fishy and maniacal table, I will raise up to 7BBs (FTA) if I feel I am likely to be called or played back at.

Post flop? Completely situation dependent. Would take pages and pages to go over them all.

Playing AA:

Depending on the Blackrain's Micro Crushing book , when you get AA in early positions , open raise for 4xbb (5xbb when table is LAG/fish filled) . Not sure if let the maniac (LAG simply doesnt exist in micro) bet you every street , but against anyone other you have to bet/bet/shove if board is familiar of course ,not wet.

No need (or even recommended, but only preference matters in the end) to open raise 4xbb in late positions, your position makes you definite, so 3xbb is pury standard.

If someone open raises before you , 3Bet to 3,5x , 4x or even 4,5x . micro players want to see flop, they dont pay attention to your raise sizing and overall how much player 3bets them. This will make pot bigger and then more money will come in after the flop.

If you are OOP and not the preflop agressor , check/raise flop and lead turn.

IMHO, slowplaying Aces in micro is pointless, people are like calling stations, they dont notice anything important you could give away, all that matters for them is to see flop , turn , river and they everytime find a reason to call you on river shove..

So in general , you want to put quickly as much possible money to the middle of table and everything starts with higher open raise than standard.

If you dont have enough hand informations about player (for example maniac ,cbet, donk bet etc. - you need at least 100 hands for these stats) , play Aces bet/bet/shove and dont worry about bad luck, you are long-term winner with Aces.

Applicable only to reg tables, NOT ZOOM.

All this is valid maybe for 2NL, beyond that you are implied odds machine if you play like this, especially vs regs.

as always you want to isolate.

aces are a strong hand but you have to be disciplined enough to let them go if you slow play them into 3 or 4 players.

only time you want to flat call is if you have been re-raised then you will take anything on offer preflop
be wary of the board texture some times it will be better to raise post flop .
keep that in mind

according to the position in early position to do just waiting for someone to call resuba and last raise or reraise as advice However, playing these hands no easy task , much less . Imagine you are in the cutoff with KK , and hand comes raiseada by someone in early ( following two positions to the blinds ) , here come our first question : I smooth call ( just look to show strength on the flop) or there reraiseo same preflop ? I usually opt for the second option , for so we will avoid more people into the boat after us , because we like to play KK heads up against three opponents and it gets ugly . Okay ... resubimos and opponent reraised us ! What is it ? That invention is this? Has the ****ing aces ? What do I do , Pusheo ( push ) all in ? FOLDEO ... ? I have come to fold kings in these situations , because most of the times I encounter this scenario the villain actually has the aces and we peel a buy-in . Others have opted to just watch to see if the flop brings letters below the K , and then raise all in the continuation bet of the opponent, to finish watching had AA ...

Another scenario also ****ed up is when the opponent simply see our reraise . You will be making smooth with AA ? The flop comes seemingly complicated , then you make your bet only to see the reraised you , you start to shit in the poker gods , his mother and pokerstars , has the ****ing set? I was doing really smooth with aces ? O has a type overpair JJ , QQ and I want to test ? They really are very complex situations where mean hit or miss double your money or lose everything, so learn to make such good reading becomes almost a necessity. You as you see the picture ? How do you usually act?

With aces the thing is " something simpler " because preflop just think if do smooth call or reraise . I usually switch enough to not to become predictable . I like to make smooth when I'm the one coming up, I reraised , because I only see the flop and go up its continuation . You risk to the villain catch a good flop with set, some sort of Draw ( project) or KQ type double , but I think it's the best way to get juice to the coveted aces.
On the other hand, the flop conflict remains the same , there is always overpair , but complicated scenarios as highly coordinated flops plus two of a suit ( suit) , it is very difficult to stay in the hand with a raise to your continuation , because most of the time the opponent has pinched something really big , or that's at least my experience. Foldearé not ever if the table is paired in a flop style 4 4 J , even if two of the same suit, and certainly if I take the set J

I do not know , the truth that this issue is very ear, widely spoken and may even come to bore you , but as I'm not bored , but it bothers me when I lose in a session two boxes for not making the right decisions in these situations . Any advice or experience to share? It would be appreciated

A pair of aces come very often, so I do not find it difficult to discover the beginning of the game with them. By game I mean proper placement of traps before the flop, the meaning of which is not to raise rates at times when other players would go broke. After the flop you realize that it's not the hand that you can win without a problem, and begin to act with caution. The main tactic - to lure the enemy into a trap. However, if the trap has not worked, and is a good chance to get yourself into it, you should not get upset and fold. When holding a pair of aces, and you choose a cautious game, have to solve more complex problems than if you went all-in before the flop.

Trapping is pretty risky at 2NL/4NL I think.
IMHO, 3X from any position and 3X 3Bet any opens or raises.
Postflop, remember, you only have a pair...........

Try to isolate one player with a 10x raise or more on a loose table. If you get reraised get it all in. Continuation Bet 1/2 the pot and if you get raised think about folding. A one pair hand postflop is not that hard to beat.

Play very aggressive. Make them make the bad decision of having to call you. YOu're being given the best hand in poker, play it with fortitude. Early position pre make the raise 4-5xBB, late go 3-4BB>. With aces the best strategy I take is to isolate to 3-handed at most on the flop. Makes the chances on them drawing fewer and their hands are likely more predictable. Make the game easy!

Raise big preflop. If reraised push it all in.
Raise/call/reraise at least 1/2 pot on flop. If you continue and you are re-raised, you have to consider folding (Yes, folding Aces) You have to figure that villain has at least two pair and if your aces have not improved they will not win. Aces are never a nut hand unless improved to at least a set.

I usually make raise 3xBB + one BB for every player that post BB or re-raise/all-in if somebody before me make a raise. However all of that depends of the opponents against you play and of their cards that are holding.

Be aggressive because it's such a low level you are gonna get called with trash anyway so if you lose you had the best hand and made the best play.

Micro stake players seem to call standard raises too often. So make sure you know
how your table has been playing to raises. Don't make it cheap enough that you get
called by more then one person. In a muti-way pot even if you hit a set, They are going to chase flushes and straights. If you don't hit a set they will chase two pair. When you get to the river you will be faced with a possible bluff that is to good to call. Be aware that some players get thrill from trying to crack AA at any stakes.
