Why just pokerstars?

I find it's always better to open with a raise, 3bet, or even 4bet if someone 3bet before you with AA both for value and to isolate.

How much I raise/reraise depends if im opening the pot or if there are other's that have entered before me. Usually open between 2.5-3+ x BB + 1BB per limper. If Im 3betting, then I usually raise it 2.75-3.25x their raise, but it all really depends.

I dont play on PS.

it depens of your situation, if you hardly need chips, just limp but if you want to survive then raise or even shove ( preferablyat bubble). if there are fish players in the table make a open raise.
but if you play cash is better to make a simple open raise.

I OR 2.5/3x bb plus 1bb per limper.

If I am 3betting/4betting then I will 3x the bet, if there is a 3bet and 1 caller then I will 4x the bet, 5x if 2 people call and so on.

So you think they get cracked more on pokerstars than on Bovada or party poker or acr? Where is your evidence for this? Wait no evidence? Then this thread is bordering on bringing in the rigged one.

As to how to play aces, many threads have been devoted to this. Normally I play them fast but there are exceptions. Late game tournaments I may limp with them. Against a wild cash game player I may allow him to lead a bet or even two. But usually I just bet them and see what happens.

It depends on the stage of the tournament and what their situation in chips. I always AA game with a raise of 3x or 3.5x pre flop

all I can say is just be prepared to fold them when you think your behind, its not worth losing your entire stack in one pair.

If tourneys, I would have many choices of play like limp, raise or call. Tends more on raising though.

If cash, I would surely raise and/or reraise and protect myself from those bad results.

early position limping is fine if the table is quite active else 3/3.5 times raise is by default. middle position raising or re-raising is usually definite as it isolate limpers

I do not think that limp is good idea, probably it could be interesting if one player absolutelly unnormal play preflop. In either case very many players can play and you will not understand ahead or behind on the flop.

In my opinion, it depends on how your opponents play. When there is someone really agressive on the table, let him be agressive, just wait. Whenever your find yourself out of this tables, raising before flop to get some valuable is a good skill, and depending on the flop, keep 3betting.

I actually understand what you mean with "they get cracked on PS more..",
but I'm not here to start an argument about rigged this'n'that cuz I don't think anything is rigged.

However, I tend to limp with AA alot since raising works like an automatic open invitation to donks calling with anything just because there's a raise. And I'm glad to show my aces to ppl when limping or when raised etc. to play my excentric playstyle that I have.

If your pocket aces seem to lose more often than you believe they should it might be because of the way you play them.
If you've limped in and the whole say 9 player table calls to see the flop, the chances of you still holding the best hand if you've missed on the flop, take a big nosedive!

With one or two callers preflop that puts you and them all in as the only players to showdown, you will win the vast majority of these scenarios.

This is only my opinion and I am certainly no great poker player, so just take all this with a pinch of salt.

Cheers ;)

I hate getting AA!
Specially when I'm Playing Live Tournaments at pub/club/casino
Playing Online is only a bit better I'd say 50/50 win/loss

I must be only person with a 80% losing record with them
And don't matter if slow play them or raise all in,Someone always Calls me & not joking 80% of time I'll Lose

And I Really Really Really #HATE KK,AK:eek: I Lose 99% of time with them online or live

Back to AA I think its time of tourney & how many chips you have Early I'd slow play or min raise,But from middle to end of tourney its ALL IN

Because i think that pokerstars is rigged, there are so many flushes, straights, or tris on turn and river that it is unbelivable...

sometimes I prefer not to take risks ( what is size our stack and position ?)- best idea to go pre-flop with AA all-in

The same hear: I Prefer by far J10s or KQo or KQs: Even 65s is good.

AA I`m very caution with it, AKs I like it more.

Pokerstars is not rigged... If you played the same amount of hands live that you did online you will see the same results... Its called variance (bad luck). I have lost many sets due to a straight or flush landing on the turn or river... Its part of playing poker, yep it sucks but you just have to deal with it.

I analize the table. If there are aggresive players who constantly raise preflop, maybe I limp/3bet. If there are fishes passive loose I raise 3x/4x in order to isolate and take value of that premium hand.

It´s really difficult to fold AA in flop but take it care sometimes

Anyway slowplaying AA really sucks. Especially on preflop. Especially against big stack. Like did Matt Affleck on WSOP2010

Explain how Matt slow played his AA in that hand. What do you think he should've done?

There are couple ways to play pocket A, but it depends on players at your table.
Online pocket A get more often crashed than in live game.
If i am short stack at the table i prefer to just all in.
In 99% cases you will get called.
If i am average stack i prefer to min raise it in order to get 3-bet or just limp(depends on other players game).
In chip leader position at the table you can play it how you think that would be best for you.
