Hello friends!
I play a lot of freerolls and I've got myself a strategy game with a pocket pair. For example, in the initial stage of the tournament, I can throw off the top pair, if someone has gone to ALL, and in the middle and last stages of the tournament I always rearrange the opponent.
With a shallow pocket pair, I never change an opponent and call, if the raise is not over half the pot!
What do you think about my strategy and how do you play such situations?
Thank you all for your answers, and if it's not a secret, advise or tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Try get in cheap with pockets then bet if you hit trips or have pockets higher than the flop!

pocket pairs

I will limp in as often as possible with them if they are below jacks. jacks or better warrant a raise. careful calling raises with them. I called a few days ago
with pocket 3's. flop was 10, 3, and another insignificant card. Was happy until we went all in and saw the other guy had pocket tens....live and learn.

I find pocket pairs are a good hand to have in freerolls no matter the pot. I have stacked my ppl hitting trips

I play pockets more loosely in freerolls than in paid tournaments but if I have JJ + (sometimes 10s, depending on position and players) I will raise, anything lower I'll limp and set mine if I can.

on preflop :if it's a good pair (TT-AA), it's allmost allways 3bb, if smaller one - call/fold. On turn and river - depends on a situation.

It depends on what to play, I'm talking about freerolls, where at the initial stage of the tournament your 3BB is transferred from the ALL.

Hello your strategy is very good since in the initial phases losing for not completing our trio is very depressing, but if it equals as long as they did a rise of two or three big blinds since it is not much and gives us the option to enter Fight the boat if we make the trio, that with the low pairs, with the high pairs like 10 10, JJ would equal up to 5 big blinds since if our rival goes up all that can be expected to have AQ or AK, Highs that are QQ, KK, and AA if I risk all inya that seems to me a good opportunity to win chips if it is played against one or two opponents.

In General it is very difficult to throw a pair, this is only possible if the opponent goes all in, otherwise, best solution to call and see a flop

A pair strategy is only appropriate in the initial stage. Then the blinds are too low and you can wait as long as you want, but you will end up losing too much stack while waiting for a pair

At the beginning of a tourney my own table position is very important to me how I play the pocket pairs. At early position I drop a lot these small pockets, when I am on an aggressive table. If there was no action before me, I raise with pockets at later positions. Limping I don't like so much. But if there are enough callers, I limp in as well sometimes with small - medium pockets. But I think, it is important not to limp your chips away with these small pockets. If I have the overpair on the flop, it depends on the structure of the board and the play behaviour before of my opponent.
