I've got some chips on Seals with Clubs that I have been fooling around with. I've been interested in trying PLO for a while. Decided to jump on a table and give it a shot. I was playing short-handed (Heads up - 3 handed for most of the time).

It's a terribly fun game. I'm not sure I've got any particular edge in it, like I believe I do in Hold'em, but I can see myself playing a lot more of it in the future. I managed to make a decent profit tonight, but it's too small of a sample size to say anything.

Any PLO degenerates out there with some generic advice for becoming better at it?

fun, isn't?

I feel like it's better to be played just for fun if you don't have a lot of time in hands to study the game deeply, since there's a lot of considerations you have to make before calling, raising, etc...

It's great times anyways and people playing this are just maniacs all around, so you will make some profit even just fooling around, but i wouldn't risking going too high with the pros

and best hand is 89TJ double suited just for you to know :p

Check out this video of Phil Galfond's PLO seminar for some basics if you haven't done so.
