The (free at the entrance, but with cash prizes) Freeroll tournaments are a great opportunity for beginners poker players wanting to practice your poker game. However there are some tips that you must follow before venturing into the freerolls.Primero that nothing have to be prepared to lose. As negative as it sounds, you have to know that even the best poker players are struggling to win this type of tournament, because luck is a big factor, as well as experience, personal situation (nerves, concentration, observation) etc. Play with a winning spirit but do not be discouraged because you will lose many tournaments and then make the experience to win other and increase your account.
You can not control your luck but you can improve your game by participating in many freerolls. Another tip is to play that many freerolls and play well. Many novice players believe they will make fortunes from nothing playing in freerolls and not even care to play a good game. Take it as a good opportunity to practice, do not think money is at stake and that ultimately even you are risking your own.
Begin playing poker game a little aggressively. The players of the poker table that have been lucky with your cards, be putting all his chips at once, make them bet heavily until they run out of chips and withdraw. Thus you despejarás the table.
If you look around a table in a freeroll you will see that some poker players are sitting but not play in any hands. This is because they scored in the tournament but will not play. These players are easy to keep their blinds white. Simply double your bet pre-flop in this way not only will stay with you more points but will expedite the drawing table players who are not participating
With these few tips you can participate in free poker tournaments have the opportunity to earn some money.
good luck!! ;)

I play a lot of free rolls on ACR. I can't seem to build or keep a decent BR lately . But freeroll's are the way to go , I've come back from nothing quite a few times . Good Luck.

My advice is that what makes you successful in free rolls is different than a regular buy in tournament. Lay close attention to the differences in game play and adjust accordingly.

Agree!

The freeroll tournament is a good place to practice your skills and test whether you really have nerves of steel.

I'm actually pretty curious if someone would elaborate on their early and middle game freeroll strategy. I feel like I make more money in cash tournaments than freerolls despite the fact that I can often go deep in freerolls. I feel like I consistently get knocked out just prior to the bubble (whether it be cash or tickets to other tournaments) in freerolls. I feel like the freeroll bubble basically turns into a game a luck (who can actually hit their all-in when it seems like all but 1 person at the table has less than 10 BB remaining).

If you are successful at freerolls then I would love to hear your strategy suggestions.

Not all Freerolls are the same

Not all free rolls are the same, say you get many freerolls at FTP and used to be in pokerstars daily, but they are for anyone passing by, so many players play them as a roulette or worst, for this kind of freerolls you need a lot of luck and I will agree are useless.
On the other hand there are freerolls in which you need to classify to be able to participate, those are better to play and practice your skills. within this group you get the Coin freerolls, weekly phase 2 freerolls and on top of them Cardschat Club freerolls with better players, where you can build up your bankroll step by step and learn some tips. :deal:

Yes, it's true that a lot of the totally 'free' freerolls are played by a lot of 'bingo' players but that doesn't mean that you should be one of them too. Anyways as the tournament progresses a better poker follows. Personally I like them because that is where I started playing poker and learned the most.

Just survive first ten minutes "all in madness" and then start play poker more seriously. Those freerolls are great for poker starters like myself to learn the game

Agree. Deposit few dollars and play NL2 at once. You will lose for the first time. Depo again. You will lose again. Cash in again. And then after some attempts you will be winning. Or you will quickly understand that poker is not yours. Don't spend months or even years for freerolls. It won't provide you the living, and won't learn you the right poker. /From own experience of year's freerolling/

I totally agree with everything said by Veronica!
I like Freeroll because you do workout and see their mistakes with each tournament and I'm getting better.
