Hey everyone,
I keep reading that table selection is important for winning poker, and that you should find a spot where you're profitable. I, however, am trying to learn the game. I'm playing micro stakes and have enough non-poker related income to maintain plenty of bankroll for the games I'm playing.
I'm curious what people's thoughts are on this? I played a table last night where it was obvious I was the #3 player at the table (at best). I lost money. I did pick up a couple things from the table, and got to where I could time the big stack 3 betting from his BB to steal the position raise.
So ultimately my question is this: Do you believe there's value in "paying your dues?" Should I have walked away from this table?
