Exactly !!! Don'set yourself up for such a decision in first place.
But, since you are here, I'd say you really have essentially 3 choices:
1. FOLD or
2. REPRESENT a stronger hand like KQ, QQ, KK, AK, or AA by betting a minimum of 1/2 or preferably 3/4th POT or.
3. CHECK it down to river and then BET 1/2 the pot if it is checked to river.
I would take door #2 and REPRESENT a much stronger hand after seeing the FLOP and before the TURN. DO NOT show weakness ... either show lots of strength OR FOLD.
