So it boils downs to this, me and other player are the last on the table, i got a flush so i go all in, he does the same thing, turns out he only had a pair of aces so i'm like good that means i won, but then the pot gets split 50 50, so how does that work?
I have been playing poker for about 3 days btw so not a pro

we need to know the rest of the hand. Like what the cards on the board where. Post a complete hand hx, so you are giving the max info.

Um the only way you guys could split if the board had a flush it self and all the cards were higher than your cards, so for example You 6H 5H FLOP 8h 9h 10h jh Kh - And he had Ad Ac , The board has the better hand then you both so it splits the pot

Use the card icons and show us exactly what cards you both had and what was on the board.

Easy guess, you got a Flush with 4 cards of the same color after the flop, turn and river. His Ace is also the same color so he also gets the Flush but wait, then he should win. If you bot tie.... ummm... need to see the cards.

Being his 3rd day playing I hope he doesn't think that all red cards make a flush.

Unless he had the same 2 cards in his hand as you did, (obviously different suits) then the board would have been what determined the split pot.

Maybe u were confused bout the color of your card thinking that you had flush, but u didnt, that has happened to me one time, i miss read my hand :D or there were 5 cards on the table of same suit and u had a card of the same suit but it was lower from the lowest card on the board in which case u split the pot,i think the latter is the case, and if u take a look at hand history ull see im right :D

Pair as well as flush draw. Opponent just didn't believe you, you're probably as outside the box played your hand.
