When you sit down at the table to play , when you evaluate the table and find your fish . Now what do you think about this type of player when you get into a hand with this type . Hes loose (plays too many hands ) , or you have a loose aggressive player at the table .

Now the question is , Do you feel you own this players chips when you get into a hand with him even though you havent gotten a made hand yet just because you have him as a loose player ?

I see things like this with certain players at times when I play and their reactions are of just this thing . I find they cant lay down 2nd best or recognize when they are beaten . I am just looking for information as to what others think about this type of things .

Thank You and Good Skill at the Tables

I know what you mean. its something i always have a problem with- i try getting into hands with these players and calling even though i have no hand and im most probably beaten.
just recently i reviewed my hand history, and started to work on changing these.
i like to call this "becoming a fish because he is a fish Tilt"

It is difficult to understand the question, i think you mean calling-station and how play vs him.. Against this players no need bluffing if you have nothing , only bet for vallue ..

Also do not need to specifically go in pot , if your hand really trash like K3o 86s or Q7s better fold...

There is a difference between a calling station and a LAG. The LAG will be making you make more difficult decisions. For the most part he will be playing a more serious brand of poker. You have to determine how serious that is.

The calling station is likely playing a more fun brand of poker. He wants to, and is willing to, see more flops.

These days, and online, I think the importance of pegging someone a calling station is less productsive than it was 5 or 6 years ago. Today's calling station is mainly interested in seeing that flop, and is more capable of making better evaluations post flop.

As for owning them; don't let that notion persuade you to make stupid confrontational moves against them 'just because'. You get to do that maybe once per session against an single villain. Better to be doing it for value 3 times per session.

Moamaw understood my question . I have found most players feel they own the fishes chips before they take them and then they get mad when they dont get them. Which usually has some chat words follow LOL.
when I play in a way that miss leads the other players at the table to misunderstand me and make the wrong evaluation on my play is when I get them to over play their hands and pay way too much . It surprises them and they get mad for a couple reasons but 1 is being over confident that my chips were thiers before they can take them :)
I was just curious as to who else feels this way about players they feel they have more skill over just from thei evaluation of them .

Against such loose aggressive players it is much better if you are seated in position.

and yes you have to fight for pots against them holding not so strong hands. So don't give up if you have hit something that easily.

So if you are looking for information against such players then it is a good idea to use check raise option and find out how he reacts and then assess the situation accordingly. They will bet air and all kinds of draws so check raising might not only win you the pot but also make the player cautious against you.

Also when you are out of position and you have hit the board then you should try leading into the pot more often. Such donk bets and check raises are vital to provide you that valuable piece of information you seek against loose aggressive players. :icon_stud

In most cases it is better to pick up chips Fish, but sometimes you can vyletet.K example reminds me of my Sunday Storm tournament when I had a stack of 200,000 and a table playing a fish, then he once again goes to the all in and he aces on my ace and a queen, and he wins the pot ...
