It mostly depends on your opponent, with no info on your opponent and when first involved in such situation it is a insta fold. But when you have a note on your opponent that he c-bet almost all the hands he opens pre it is OK to raise with two overcards, specially on a dry board where there is no str8 draw or FD, but dont use this as a put in stone rule, you need to have good read on your opponent or hud that he c-bets a wide range, Also when you face a really tight opponent that opens small percentage of hands and on a dry low cards board you can also bet/raise depends on your position because he might as well have overcards and he might fold to an aggression, and again i say this is just some pointers how you can mix it up, don't take it literally and do the same thing every time, i'll say it again with no info ill fold overcards to an aggression but ill most certainly take some notes on how he opens, how big the c-bet was and what the board was, it might be usefull for the next time

well one is not supposed to hit the flop (or the board) everytime with overcards (around one third) but the same applies to the opponent, so it will depend on both players,

so most of the time none of the players are going to have less than a pair, so overcards are going to be ahead a lot of time, no matter if hits the flop or not, so i think one has to play a little loose and trying to be looser and looser when one has a better knowledge of the opponent,

so if opponent is too aggressive, let him play when holding a strong hands, if is pasive then go over him, i think this is the aproach, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn´t, but one tryes to make the adjustments hand by hand

Well, you need to know your opponent a little bit. Do you sense weakness when you have overcards ( his weakness, not yours ). Does he fold to a bigger than normal raise? Des he fold often if he doesnt hit the flop? How much did you get raised?
Its all about different situations. Lets say if 3 low to middle spades hit the flop and im holding an Ah Kh I wouldnt go further if I face a raise. You need to calculate for yourself whether it is worth it, whether he is raising you because he has straight or a flush draw? And such. Playing with the same opponent over and over again helps a lot. If the flop comes 2 5 8 rainbow and the turn is a Q you can bet/reraise him to represent a pair even if you dont have it. Dont know dude, its different in every situation as you see :).

Overvaluing over cards post flop is a leak IMO ,yes AK ,AQ, etc look nice preflop ,but post flop they are simply ace high which can be good sometimes but is essentially a bluff catcher at show down.I'm not saying fold them every time ,as others have said floating the turn or even the river is totally read dependent.Sometimes laying these hands down post flop saves us money in the long run.......scorp

It really depends on your opponent. If your opponent is tight and youre heads up with rainbow flop. Expect that both of you didnt hit any. It will go now whos holding the highest card like Ace or maybe same Ace but now focusing on the kicker. The tight player might have also medium pair which you are beat on the flop.
If your opponent is loose with rainbow flop, expect he hits something on the flop, with your overcards losing on the flop.
