So you are in a hand and have a flush draw with a few outs to win. You hold Q A of hearts. The flop comes 2h, Qs 10h. Both check, You are heads up with an agressive player. The turn comes Qd, no connector but you have trips. Your opponenet value bets, what do you do, and why?

This is an excellent situation to be in. How do you know the opponent is betting for value and not bluffing? You didnt say how the game went preflop. Did you raise and the opponent called? Did he raise and you called? Anyway, I think you have excellent equity and should raise him on the turn, but not too aggressive cause you WANT him to pay, cause you probably have the best hand. Someone agree/disagree?

Only hands better than yours out there could bet pocket 2s or pocket Ts... and still you would have a 16% equity in those cases only... Other possible hands you have 9x% equity

Only Q,10, Q,2 have you beat. Pocket aces or kings are a possibility, so I would come over the top of him with a small raise to entice for him to fish for the third ace or king. The percentages are so much in your favour, you want him to bet again.

Between the two of you, you have all the hands that beet us covered.

First thing is I'm not checking the flop. With top pair and Ace kicker I'm making a reasonable bet hoping for a call.

If my opponent is before me I'm calling his bet on the Turn hoping he'll bet again on the river. If I'm first I'm making a substantial raise on the turn.

If he has 10s, 2s or Q 10 (Q 2 not very likely) I would expect to get a large re-raise at some point giving me an opportunity to bail out if I don't think he's bluffing.

Yeah, I realized that right after my post.. forgot to mention QT and Q2.. but I couldn't find how to edit my post. Anyway, why not raise on his bet?
