online poker Vs Live Poker, which one is your favorite?

Live Poker

Live or face-to-face poker is where you move to a poker establishment, be it official or informal. In it you will play traditional Poker, where you sit at the table and play directly with your opponents, with your chips at your side and who knows a drink to accompany the match.

He is recommended to players who need that human contact, which, incidentally, is not necessary, but very useful at Poker. There are people who like to feel emotion, so this game model is ideal for them. Psychological pressure is a gift that many know how to impose on their opponents, but it is not enough at Poker. Ever heard of a look worth a thousand words? This in Poker is very evident, so much so that many players wear glasses to camouflage their intentions in live games. In it you need to be hard as a rock; You can not show your emotions, and that requires a lot of skill. Therefore, face-to-face poker is not for the weak.

In a live Poker tournament, you must be 100% focused and focused on the match to succeed in your moves. And it's worth keeping an eye out for, as in informal games there may be organizational flaws and even flip-flops underneath the rags to suck up your entire bankroll.

Online Poker

Online Poker is responsible for giving people the chance to venture into this world. In it you will never know who is on the other side of the screen; How he plays, how he behaves with weak hands and high hands, etc. It is more complicated to read a virtual player than a live one. You will never be able to read your opponents accurately, at the very most have a foreboding taking into account the plays they make.

But perhaps that is the advantage of Online Poker. Not every player can read the opponents and likewise there are many who can not simulate. For these players, Online Poker transforms their vulnerability into something that does not compromise them in any way.

In Online Poker you can play several games simultaneously. You can make money without having to go to a luxury casino and more, you can play against players from around the world. And if you like options and agility, this is your beach.

So what's your best way to play poker? Which way do you stand out in the game?

Leave your comments !!!

So that's it, GL on the tables my friends !!!

Well, i prefer to play live, but I mostly play online. This is strictly due to playing online is just more convenient for my situation. I can play whenever I have a chance to squeeze it in. I would have to say I play 95% online, and 5% live, but I rather have it a bit more balanced. Good luck.

Very good CardDead711, I believe we should focus on what we are best to seek the best use in the game !!!
I'm focused on online, much more for lack of opportunity and time, but I really like to distract with friends, all having fun in a more recreational way, but my focus is online where I have greater financial returns.

So that's it, GL and we meet at the tables !!!

I assure you that online poker and live poker are two distinct games, and with this premise let's look at the basic differences between the two and what they mean for your game. By far the biggest and most important difference between the two forms of the game is the lack of interaction at the table, without the live presence, it can often be much harder to read an opponent, without your opponent, you have less tools to Evaluate the strength of your hand.

On the other hand, they have fewer tools available to evaluate yours; Depending on your style of play, this can be beneficial. For example, an aggressive player who prefers to play hands based on the analysis of his opponents probably will not be as successful as a purely online player. On the other hand, a strategically strong mathematician who plays the numbers probably will do better as an online player.

Online, live poker is too slow paced
I think play enough amount of hands is the very big problem for live.
beside, live poker is hard to do something called table selection, which limit your edge against potential weak player.

so online is better, but would say, hours rating , live is better, still I like play online. unless huge fish call my 1000bb+ AA preflop all in with 29o, showing up on my table, I would like live LOL.

I have always prefered online games I find they are faster than live games and you can play any time day or night, the social aspect of the game is not as good but I believe you have more freedom of choice on line, especially when you live in a slightly remote area

The only thing I like more about online is that you get to see WAY more hands. But I do prefer to play live. I find I play better and just prefer the atmosphere. Having actual chips in front of me.

I know poker a short time, I am learning to play here in cardschat, I have not yet had the opportunity to play live, I believe that my online training will help me when I start live, I worked in the amateur theater a good training for the bluffs live

Each has its own pros and cons
Definitely better when the dealer is a real person, not a random number generator..
and once you see your opponents in the eye..
but online you can not be afraid for their money)

I like live poker tournaments much better. I can get to know the players better. In online poker, for me, it takes a real out of range player to get my attention, and then I tend to focus on that player. In live games I am more able to absorb all of the players at the table and play each the way I feel best. For me it's the playing the players more than the cards that yield me the best results.

I like both of them. Online is more quick and you can play more hands and have an record to remember every hand, live on the other hand can be a bit slow but you feel more the adrenaline in each hand, you have to be more focus and pay attention to every detail.

I definitely prefer online over live games. You have the opportunity to see more hands - and of course play multiple tables.

I prefer live play. Just something about holding those cards and handling those chips that make it all more real.

If you have enough bankroll, let say $4,000 which is the best to play or grind, online or live poker? I'm just confused..

I like online poker more! it is possible to play in house convenient clothes, to swear openly on players at a table, calling them for eyes bad words)))))))
however in a live game there are a lot of pluses too, the first and the main thing is much easier to bluff in a live game!

well and, of course, when you play alive, nothing distracts from a game! what undoubtedly positively influences result))

i guess i'll go with live games. I wont leave that amount of cash to the hands of a poker program and get burned with algorithms that favors bad beats... hehe
