I was just playing and was dealt A477. Board was 9h2h3hKK. Was beaten by 5K27.

There was no low pot only this HI.

Why is this? Was something counterfeited?

I can say that the high hand has your opponent with a full house as he is using K 2 from hand and KK2 from board, and all you have is 2 pair KK 77 and your kicker is the 9 from the board

keep in mind you only use 2 cards from hand and 3 on board. Also try posting the hand history.

Hope this helps

I know why I lost the High. I just need it explained to me why there was no low pot there. I thought I would get that.

For a low you need a 8 or lower high. So if there are only two cards 8 or lower there will be no low even if you have A234.

AHHHH thank you! I forgot to apply that rule. This makes sense now.

Probally shouldn't learn Omaha basics as I play it.
