Hi all,

I am looking to make friends with anyone interested or currently playing micro/low stakes PLO and/or PLO8. I play on ACR, if you played there that would be ideal.

I'd like to talk Omaha, use Poker tracker and review each other's play, play games at the same table when possible, discuss hands and just improve and move up together. A sort of team accountability in improving and someone to bounce ideas off of.

If you're interested hit me up and we can talk.

I've got a small group going lately for omaha, with a focus on o8 in particular. It's for the few guys I've been staking lately, but anyone who wants to learn is welcome to join I suppose. Even very experienced players may find this quite useful and just fun tbh. I'm kinda decent at o8 ;)

Much of our play is on ACR currently, and also some on the other main US-facing sites. I also know some pokerstars omaha/o8 regs, so I'm kinda familiar with those games too. My name is the same here so if you've played many o8 tourneys on ACR so far, then you might already have seen me :D

We've just started using Discord for it recently instead of Skype, and it seems to work really well so far. The main benefit is that it lets us review hands while they are still fresh in our minds, and also kinda fun + informative to rail games from there. PM me if you want the link to our Discord group. If you aren't familiar with it...it's free, faster, easier, has a mobile version too, and just more secure than Skype tbh. It was made for gaming, which usually means good for poker too.

Here's some threads from two of the guys I'm working with currently, if you'd like to learn a bit more about us.

Thanks for the email. I would certainly be interested in joining you guys in chatting and playing.

My name is the same on here. I play mostly Sun-Wed. I work shift work the rest of the week so I don't get much table time. I try to play all of the PLO8 tourneys I can, just don't play much cash. I will download that program so I can join in. Sounds like fun and educational.

PM sent with the info.

If anyone else is interested in improving their o8/omaha game, I guess you can just post here or send me a PM. Especially if you stream these poker formats(or any side/mix game really), since discord has tie-ins to twitch and we can help promote your stream.

Also in Omaha you have to use 2 of your cards unlike hold em. If there are 4 spades on the board an you have 1 spade out of your 4 cards you do not have a flush. I enjoy Omaha a lot but there are a lot of suckouts because there are so many hand possibilities

Omaha is more interesting than hold'em.
More opportunities to make a combination.
More draw.
More unpredictability.
Omaha - it's like a twelve string guitar.
If you learn to play it, the six-string will seem quite boring tool.))I love Omaha more, then holdem. Very interesting game.
It is a pity that all poker only associated with hold'em.
There are a lot of interesting games.
Badugi, horse - a combination of different games...so many games...

I would be up for this, plz Inbox me and let me know exactly how and when and the times and how I would be able to find you at the tables on ACR as I don't play often on there but use It for the CC games only
