I saw the other guys thread about all in luck or skill and it reminded me I wanted to ask about this. AA preflop in Holdem of course is a great hand and all in is normal but what about AAanycard anycard (not a 2nd pair) in Omaha? I see people push all the time with that hand but is that a good move, I mean there are many hands that will beat AA. I would rather push with something like 8,9,10,J anyday and when I have bet on AA preflop I always get beat by some guy playing rags who hits a flush or even 3 of a kind.

So do you bet big or push with AArag rag preflop in Omaha, are the odds good?

Your playing against the right people. A one pair hand in Omaha is not very strong. It will have to improve on the flop or you will probably be up against big draws with better odds of improving to a nut hand. Aces with nothing is basically a set draw and sets don't always hold up postflop. The aces are more potent with another suited card and especially a suited and connected card.
