Hello,

New memeber, I just wanted some input.

I dont know if many of you play Omaha Hi Lo, I play in a lot of dealers choice cash games. We get into some wild games. Just last night though, in a game of Omaha Hi Lo, we had an argument about the Lo hand.

On the board there was only three low qualifiers, 5-6-7. One player had an A-4 another player had 2-3 on the low.

My understanding is you are only as good as your highest card. Both players using 5-6-7 on the board, 2-3 wins because it is lower than A-4.

However, the table of players was split about who was the winner. We could not find enough info on the web to convince the table to come to a conclusion.

Can I get some input so I can show this to others and guve them a convincing argument? I am dealing with some stubborn people.

Thanks.

You are correct, 76532 is a better hand than 7654A. You start each players hand at their highest card and go down from there a card at a time until one hand has a lower card, so both hands have a 7 and a 6 and a 5 then you come to the 4 vs the 3 and the 3 wins the low.
