Omaha HI LO

Hi


I cant find much info on the forum, I should use the search option , but in this case those words " HI LO" , the forum doesnt like them

So anyone could link some info about this game ? I tryed it yesterday, looked fun, arrived 2nd at Sit and go without knowing anything about LOw hand, i was just guessing, sometimes did right, sometimes wrong

I didnt put rest of cards, im interested only in the low hand to understand here whos strongest if ace or ive to add both ?

23. Read the low hand from the highest card to the lowest card.

You have a 7654A, your opponent has 76432. Notice with your hand, your third card is higher than his third card, so your hand isn't as low (and thus you lose).

Count from high to low.

Both have 7s, so we go to the next card. Both have 6s, so we go to the third. The 4 is lower than the 5, so the first hand wins.

2-3 wins the lo, it goes by the lowest high card if that makes sense. read the hand backwards, so if you hold A-5 you have 7 6 5 4 A and your opponnent has 7 6 4 3 2. If you read it backwards the player that uses more board cards before using their cards will win the pot. So in the above example you use 2 board cards before your first in hand card where your opponnent uses 3 board cards before using his in hand cards. Its confusing I know but just remember the lowest high card A-5's lowest high card is 5 2-3's lowest high card is 3 3 is lower than 5 so 2-3 wins.

basicly with omaha you get 4 cards and at showdown you use your best 2. to get the low you can not have a card higher then 8 you the board to help with gettig the low. omaha is a great game so slowly learn it.

Easily Full Tilt or poker stars in the SNGs. Poker Stars seems to have more of everything, but not 100% sure in Omaha HL.

Full Tilt has Rush PLO/8 for full tables all the time.

If you want to get more aquainted with the game you should put a small deposit on Ultimate Bet and play in the 20 and 50 cent SnGs. The games can sometimes take a bit to fill up. If that isnt your thing than PS and FTP are both awesome choices.
