Hey guys, so I figured I should ask to see if the way I have been learning and bettering my poker skills is fine. IMO I think people should just learn whatever way works best for them but I want to make sure mine at least sounds okay.

What I usually do after a session, is read up on something that came to my mind during my session whether it be: Strategy,Range,Position or really ANYTHING related to playing better poker. When I do read I don't usually go into much in to depth with it but I take bits and pieces and put it to work in my next session and just learn from the experience i'm getting with playing.

Of course if a hand I played confuses me I review it in PT or post it here or on Grinder School. Any input would be much appreciated! (The way i'm teaching myself may not even be that different)

I think that's a great way to relate to any advice your resources give you regarding a specific topic you're reminded of during a session. In addition to doing that, look for things that are not related to poker in any way. Then, find a way to directly relate that subject to poker. For example, personal experiences at the grocery store. What kind of reads are you getting from a cashier or a server, etc.? Good luck at the tables.

Sounds good - the best part is you are reviewing your sessions, so that's really solid.
