Hi! I would appreciate a definitive answer on this one.

We were playing Texas Hold'em no limit tournament style last night at a friend's house and this problem came up.

QUESTION: If I fold Preflop, is it ok for another player (Who Folded As Well) to view my folded cards?

In my opinion that gives him insight into my betting patterns and I do not wish that other player to see the cards that I fold pre flop even if he folded pre flop as well.

Is there a rule for this one?

Thanks!

I do not know. But I believe that it is your own business! And no one can watch them without your consent!

No one ever has to show folded cards except at showdown, and only if asked by other players at showdown. Dealer or person whose hand it was can show them but never another player.

The only reason it can happen is if someone suspects cheating.

If one person sees them then all players at the table are entitled to see also.

I did it once at a casino and was quickly told by the dealer that I had to show to all if I show to one player.

Its really nice when you 4-bets him and he folds. You get a lot information with 4-bets
