ohama hi lo

we play hi lo a lot and sometimes we will bet and go both ways. when going hi and lo do you have to use the same 2 cards in your private hand if you go both ways or can you use 2 other cards. I searched some rule sites and couldn't find this,,,,,,,,thanks

You use 2 cards from your hand for your low pot and for the high pot you also use 2 cards from your hand. They don't need to be same 2 cards for each pot. EG. You have AA34 in your hand on a A2559 board, you use your 34 for the nut low and your AA for the high pot
