How often happens to you, that you lose with straightflush from bottom over straightflush from the top?

i have only had a straight flush once and I won the game. I think the chances of getting a straight flush is pretty rare and the chances of two players on the same table getting one must be near to one in a million.

Had this happen to me 2 or 3 times over the course of millions (15+ years) of PLO and assorted O8 hands.

More fun when it happens at a casino with a bad beat jackpot, I will say. :D

For two years of the game, I've met this only twice. This is extremely rare) The last of these two times I had 78 (s) on the flop came out 910J (s) from the opponent's hand QA (s), so I had a straight flush, and he had a flash and a holey royal- Flash. It sounds incredible but on the river he got K (s) and a royal flush. I will not be surprised at this game)))

For all time of the game to me the straight flush came out only 3 times. All these 3 times were nuts. In order to win one straight flush from another straight flush - the probability of such a situation is about 1/10 000 000. Such an event is very unlikely.
An example of such unlikely events - What is the probability that 2 opponents have gone all-in with pocket AA and one had the flush on the board? :D:D:D

So rarely that it shouldn't even bother you.

It is a pretty rare thing to have the dumb end of a straight flush since they are so hard to make.

I really played poker a long time ago and on two occasions I had color climb and pitifully in one of them I was not even because it was a very aggressive pre-flop and my cards were :)10c::8c4:), clover so I retired and my surprise was See that the flop came out, :)7c::9c4::jc4:) of clover. Wow
Then it is quite difficult to find two colored stairs in one hand but there is always the possibility.

I have never seen that happen and probably never will, but as long as there is a mathematical chance that it can happen, at some point, to someone, it will.

Lol that's one of the worst beats I've heard of in a while! My word... that's tough. I only had a straight flush 3 times, in a lot of hands. Pretty neat stuff... sometimes when you loose, just let it go. There was nothing you "should" have done differently.

the odds of this happening is so small that I wouldn't worry about it. if you have the bottom of a str8 flush, and they have the top well GG and they earned my stack because I'm stacking off for sure.

Happened to me today. Texas Holdem on Full Tilt. Micro level. Holding KQ hearts. Three players saw flop 8,6,5 hearts. Everyone checked, me last. Turn black. Player to my left bet half the pot, two callers. River 7 hearts. First bettor pushed, two callers. I lost with king high flush. Player showed 4 of hearts straight flush.....and lost! Third player had 9 of hearts!!!

Odds?

I never lost with a straight flush.
I think you have to play more than 10 years, to witness that.
