I have taken a bit more time recently concentrating on players ranges from different positions at the table and wrote up a general template that I paste into new players note section looking like this,

SB -
BB -
UTG -
UTG+1 -
MP-1 -
MP-2 -
MP-3 -
CO -
BTN -

Is this an effective way of noting, will it help my game? And does anyone else note like this? Or how would you guys gather and note down information on other players at the table?

Basically each time a player makes a move from a certain position at the table I note it in this, over time once the sample is big enough it makes decision making and narrowing down the range an awful lot easier for me

Think just every time a player makes a significant play note it, don't worry about the order, you shouldn't have more than 5/6 notes on each player i imagine.

The more notes on a player the better though would it not be?
