Hi everyone.

I'm unclear how I have a weaker hand in these scenarios. I'm new to poker/omaha so maybe there is a nuance I'm not fully grasping.

Sorry I only have the results and not full cards in hand and on table.

So maybe the one with the straight and a pair was lost due to not fully connecting but as I understand 2 of my cards are needed to in omaha.

But what about the other plays?

I think what's happening is you are winning split pots. Tell me if this is similar to your situation.

Player 1 starts with 200,000
Player 2 starts with 50,000
Player 3 starts with 200,000

Everyone goes all-in for whatever reasons.
Player 2 wins 150,000 with a straight.
Player 3 wins 300,000 with two pair.
Player 1 loses all their chips.

What's happening is, you are only allowed to take the number of chips you start with from each player. So, if you start with 50,000 then the most you can get from each player is 50,000 each. It's what they call split pots because you get 1 pot and the other players get the other pot based on the fact that they have more chips.

Thank you!!! I believe you are on point. Just like in your example I do start out with the minimum allowed buy in. And after a while I would "cash" out and return to the table. This makes sense. Appreciate the feedback.

What were you all-in for the main pot did you win main pot and the other two win side pot?
because you had a flush and they only had a set one had set of 8's the other a set of Q's. So you couldn't has lost that hand unless the board did pair. which it didn't. You either bust on a different hand or you disconnect and lost on an allin.

Yep. Looks to me like the other player has more chips than you. So you win your share of the chips and then the folks with more chips at the table decide who wins remainder of pot based on 2nd best hand.
