Anyone have suggestions on getting used to dealing with actual chips in live play when your used to the online play?
I know the live dealers help alot. Like if you put to many chips in they toss back the extra and make change. Just the math and paying attention i want to get better at for the sake of not standing out amature player? Also to keep the play moving out of respect and dicourum for the others at the table. Practice helps i just can't get out to the casinos to often. Got a big family at home.

I wouldn't worry about it much. It is a change from online to live. I would straight up tell everyone you're new. The dealers work on tips and will be as helpful as they can usually.

My suggestion to getting use to the game is to slow down and be very deliberate. Wait for your turn to look at your cards. Decide what you want to do and act. There is no rush, it is a slow game. When you see a flop, take a second and look at the cards, decide what you have and your next action. Don't rush or feel rushed.

New players tend to want to play faster when they have a good hand or hit a flop.

Yeah it is a much slower game.
Ive always stated i was new and may need extra guidence but that also makes me a target. Being aggressive seems to work but knowing when and where to push. Got to have good timeing and adjust to the position and type of players your against.

I have been playing live poker since I arrived to Brisbane. I have made some mistakes in the table with my chips too. we don't have dealers until get the final table so we have to be careful about our chips, count them and give them to the winner player.
I think it is only practice with time you will improve in this . I would recommend you the you have to be focus at the moment when players start betting and continue putting attention in the next bets.
No worries with time we will improve little by tittle.

whatever hand good hand bad hand or indifferent try and look the same take same time on each decision It always amazed me how some guys can just read in to any situation by the way their opponent acts or reacts seen some excellent reads and you need to pick up on your opponents tells and false tells good luck.

LoL, I've been playing for years and still will sit down at a table and tell them I'm new, let me know if its my turn and I don't act.
