Hi everyone,

I'm new to poker and I'm learning all I can via videos, articles, etc. I've been told a good idea is to review you hands and if your not sure what you should of done to ask someone, so here I'am...

Basically I was playing a SNG 10 table, I got down to the last 3. I was on the button and my hole cards were K4 off suit, the BB seems pretty weak and folds a ton but the SB seems like a fish and may call. I'm not sure whether I should be 3x to steal the blinds or a straight fold because of the SB and because my cards are not the greatest here.

Thank you in advance,

Jason.

It usually is expected that the button will raise the blinds when only the blinds and button are involved in the hand, and raising 3x the BB is also not out of the norm for this type of move.

But depending on how many chips you have left and whether you believe the SB will Aggressively defend his SB, should determine your decision on throwing away your K rag, also if your goal is to just move up or if it is to win the tournament will dictate your moves.

To receive more specific advice, you will need to provide the exact situation and the exact results you are attempting to achieve [IMHO]
