I have found one of my brand new favorite hands. I have learned to play 9-10 suited strongly. I have had good success with these cards. A friend of mine told me to play these cards stronly, especially on FT. Good advise. anyone agree?

Completely disagree.

you shouldn be playing 9 10 STRONG at all...in fact..you should only be playing this hand in position or if its super cheap to see the flop....whatever happened to AA KK QQ JJ and AK being good starting hands?

Partly depends on effective stack size - deeper this hand goes up in value, shorter goes down in value. Definitely a hand that benefits from position and suffers oop.

mypokergrind's FYP is the nuts imo, I'm just nitpicking above. :D

haha you can play 72suited and have the same luck as 109suited on FTP but yea it all depends the situation...geeze do NOT get me started about hands that are played on that site...but at the end of the day damnit I cant get enough...I think the miracleness
(not sure if its a word)
(Dnt think so but thats what came out 1st) and the bad beats are what keep me coming back!...it just depends which side of the beat your on at that moment to how you would agree or disagree...totally agree with the others tho!

Please don't get started, it's not helpful to think about poker that way - all you can do is make the best play for the situation, and let factors outside your control play themselves out. ;)

Tks Brian!

T9 suited should be played passively preflop, from position or calling small raises (early in tournies when blinds are low and M is high) and then played aggressively on flops that yield two pair or higher.

I agree with Patty. Nothing wrong with flat calling or even raising with them from from late position but in the long run these cards will result in loses.

Only play this hand from position and if it's cheap to see the flop. It may not be as strong as AA KK QQ JJ but it can definitely crack em. I personally like this hand but wouldn't suggest playing it strong.

Yea i think what everyone said is good advice. Thats a hand u should def be playing in position. I think u have maybe been running good and so it seems that hand is super strong but in reality its on strong when it hits 2 pair or a really good draw... Jus be aware we playing that hand from OoP...

I prefer J10 suited because it can make four nut straights. No other hand can. Here are those boards. xx=baby cards irrelevant to the straight.

As with everything in poker.. it depends.
T9s is a great hand to 3bet with in pos. imo. (obv. not in the micro tourneys, although I'd consider it depending upon opponents, stack sizes, etc., etc. )

Depending on the situation like everyone says, I have added a few hands that I really like to see a cheap flop with, 10 9, 10 J, Q J, K 10. I dont play them strong just try to see a flop.

Fold it

In most cases, that is. If you think you can get in cheap, either in position or a tight table, maybe consider it. You will probably not continue to have good luck with it - wait .... are they hearts? If they're hearts, then ... just kidding.

I love people that have favorite hands. If you have a favorite hand, I don't think you should limit yourself to just one. :D
