On Thrusday I will be putting a deposit of £200 on 888 and I was just wondering with BRM in mind what games should I be playing, should I be playing $3 sit and go's with $2.50 MTT's ?

You will get a lot of opinions on this, but I think those are fine to start with, but if you see your BR is hurting after a week, I would go down. And if you play any cash games, I would try 5nl, but that is high for your BR. That's only 40 buyins. Then again I don't know your experience, so let us know more about you as a player, and we can help you more. GL to you

But you can be a good player, but you have to put some work into it like you are doing now. Ask a many questions and get all the feedback you can. Use the advice at the tables. But as long as you believe you are not a good player, then you have already given up, so why play at all. It's like saying, you guys I have brought some money to give away today. The BR is fine, but I would play at the lowest level to start with while you learn and start believing in yourself. There is two more things and I will shut up. Don't tilt at the table. If you do, stop there until you cool down. Try your best to have some fun. Laugh at some stupid moves you make, but keep it in mind that you will play it different next time. WE are here to help. GL to you

Thanks PaPc, I was just being honest to my self, as I could of said I'm a "Okayish player " but I'm not really, I intend to get better and to stick with my BRM while I play

Yeah good BRM will keep you happy. You might not be winning a lot but you are getting to play. I mean playing is fun. One thing I forgot, do not play long hours. If you do you will hate poker. Haters can't win,

Are you stronger at cash games or sngs? Go with your strength until you build up your bankroll to $100 then you can deal with bigger swings in variance. It sounds like you have some experience so $3 sngs and small mtts should be okay. Doesn't hurt to do some studying away from the table either. There are some great videos on twitch and some good books out there. Figure out what you want to improve and go from there. GL!

Is that the lowest MTT buy-in they offer?

If you're looking to follow strict BRM for MTTs, then a $200 BR for $2.50 isn't it. With $200, I'd stick with $1 MTTs and lower until you've build up to $500+ before taking a stab at $2.50 MTTs. 175-200+ buy-ins for a game is pretty nitty, but also very safe.

Of course, strict BRM is only if you don't want to have to reload again. If you have no problem reloading (if you bust), then your BRM can be a little more loose. Playing $2.50 with a $200 roll gives you only 75 buy-ins, but if you can easily reload, that's good enough to play around with.

£200 is about $280 ish at the moment, so that's why I thought the SnG at $3 would be better for me, yes I am I feel more stronger at SNG than MTT's but wanting to improve on my cash games too

KLDUFF, philthy is right. That's why I said go down in a week if you are losing. I think it wouldn't hurt for you to give it a shot at $3. It may do you good no matter if you win or lose. By the way, do you play at any other sites? GL to you

You made a good choice on 888 for you're deposit, i have started playing there
lately, the games seem softer then PS. I only play micro cash tho, 4nl and 6nl.
I never tried their sit and gos. You could easily play 4nl with you're BR, I started with 100 dollars. Good luck, hope you bring you're bankroll to 1000 +.
