i play live at a casino 1-2nl . its comprised of maniacs who limp and call raises because they are having fun and bad players and most flops are 3-5 players.

i raise /reraise with AA-JJ AKs AKo from every position.
i call raises if i can set mine with multiple callers and if i have a good read on a players style i will play AQs AQo KQs
on the button, cutoff or hijack i limp with Axs and sooted connectors/sooted 1 gaps and hope to flop 2 pair or better or a combo draw. when i have the combo dew i will play it if i can see the turn for cheap but that's it. this is all i am doing and while i have success i wonder if i should play even tighter. any suggestions are appreciated.

"who limp and call raises because they are having fun"
sounds good for You do not try to bluff them much and rasie with a good hand that should be profitable if They are calling station

its just a waiting game, get your spec hands in for cheap when u can,
suckit value with made hands.

you have to willing to invest chips if you want those pots im not a big fan of multiple pots to many callers its hard to carry in when u miss the flop.

in general a good range in position will get you chips.
to bluff effectively youl need to bet really big in general don't rely on it
but throw in one or two bluffs an hour or ambitious attempts just to mix up your game It can be profitable to your image if they think your raising no hand, maybe even show rags and then stick to your solid game

I realized that even AK with a ace on the flop in 1-2 or 2-5 is still not very strong because of how many people are in the flop and are going to float the flop to pick up draws or make their draws. What size bet should I make on the flop? I'm literally thinking over bet the pot to make people chase but then you feel pot committed and if someone calls you don't feel like you have the best of it. What about checking the flop or keeping the pot small unless I hit 2pr or a combo draw. I think that might be the safest route since there is so many people in the hand at a live game

ABC poker at that level. No bluffs. Just straight up ABC.

That's the profitable way to play 1,2 live.

If you can, have a seat about 15 to 20 minutes after they stop serving booze. Always a push fest.

Ace rag will lose you money. It is usually better to let it go.

Just play solid poker.

Grind chips bit by bit. Its just a patient, waiting game.

Add to it, look for tells and hide yours.

Play TAG style.
seldom bluff unless you have solid table image to sell to others.
Try to scoop as many value as possible, if you hit nuts.
