So to start off I've been playing poker(seriously, not recreational) for almost under a half year. Started with $50 On ignition. I'm mostly a tournament guy. I know these rely a lot on variance. So with a low bankroll I busted quick. Every tourney I either make a deep run to be busted before the money or knocked out early. I know aggression is key but I also know you don't want to get into a hand with rags. I've pretty much have gotten my range down and know how to play my position. Yet sometimes I slip up or maybe raise to much or make the wrong reads.. like villian limping with AA middle of tourney and me shoving after with 55. So just wondering if there are any good sites I could Improvfe my poker knowledge or any threaad here you can point me to. Thank you! Also I'm not a bad cash game player. I honestly don't mind it. I like the slower pace

Edit: I know this whole site is knowledgeable! I was thibk more of foundational information that will help me make better decisions. I like how people discuss hands but I don't really benefit from that

search for youtube videos or poker sites that analyze hands, will study readings of hands that great players do.

I sincerely prefer a slow game, the concept of aggressiveness that has developed does not convince me, I like to watch PRO players in the cash tables and are not aggressive 100% of the time. to this is added that no matter how you go with your hand on the flop, stars is responsible for modifying the end on the turn and river. so I avoid going all in before seeing all the community, unless it is pre flop and with a closed range. I always receive criticism for doing limp, as I assiduously slowplay. I think you'll slowly find your style, watching and studying...

If you are a decent cash game player, why not focus on it primarily?
MTT's have higher variance so you can get tough beats even if you play your best game.

Anyway there's tons of free content out there to improve your game both ways. CC is a great place to be as well. Great friendly people who are willing to help each other.

I'm not a person who laughs at other peoples dreams but for now I'd say not to take poker that seriously for the time being. I meant, thinking of making this your utmost priority & sole income. Think of it as a side gig for now, enjoy the game & with time and success think it through how you wanna proceed.

Content-wise,
Check out the cash section
https://www.cardschat.com/forum/cash-games-11/

& the Tournament section
https://www.cardschat.com/forum/tournament-poker-59/

to get advice & info. But take note that there will be people who'll give a ton of bad advice without knowing so, so it's up to you to filter them out.
Take good advantage of the hand analysis section in each of the sections.

Also check out this thread since you're starting to grind it up
https://www.cardschat.com/forum/learning-poker-57/building-a-baby-bankroll-181238/

Also follow these free courses for some of the general, beginner stuff
https://www.pokerschoolonline.com/courses

Also check out CC's own strategy articles
https://www.cardschat.com/poker-strategy.php

Other than that if you search enough there'll be plenty of sites/articles.

Upswing poker run by Doug Polk has some really good free content as well.

I haven't read any of the poker books tbh, so can't give you much advice on that.

But in the end it's you who has to put in the work & try to improve. People will help but you must have that dedication & passion to achieve success as in everything in life.

I understand you but I'll just tell you what to do in these situations, I,I play first tournament very tight do not make big bets'm gonna call big bets and about somewhere in the middle of the tournament with a good hand I make big bets usually it helps me but not always it depends on the players that you play and your patience

You do not need to despair in the game so quickly. You should read more about the theory of poker. Look at how professionals play.

start building your roll from freerolls, review your hands, post hands in forums like CC and work on your icm

Alucard's post is excellent.

I like how people discuss hands but I don't really benefit from that

I am sure those hand analysis posts look like they are written in a Martian language to beginners.
Google is your friend. Looking up things that you don't understand will give you much useful knowledge. And if you aren't able to figure it out after looking it up, just ask a question in the comments. Everyone was a beginner at one time, and most of us remember it well.

This is very good advice, a lot of information can be found online

just play only with the hands that feel good. and if you have bad cards just fold.
it's better to bust with good hands than bad cards

as beginning poker player, don't play too much hands and be more tight. in MTT you have time to observe the players on your table and react to them as needed, blindsteal, bluff or just play your hand...it mostly depends on the situation and it always can happen in early phase of MTT that you have premium staring hands in pocket, but get a bad beat with a calling station..
the only way is to read some pokertheory, watch handdiscussion videos, get a HUD and play a lot of hands and good cards ;)

and what I forgot to mention, have a plan to play your hand. don't overplay your pocket AA/KK, they are just pairs! and play your hand a straight way when being strong in MTT
