Watch videos and/or join online poker school it might help and like alatanicar said just try small tournaments it takes more time and patience but I think you can spend way less money even if you don't win.

You should start at the lowest cash limit and learn to play. Practice proper bankroll management, and play optimally always. Take advantage of weekends because personally I will say its the most profitable period of the week. Find the bad players at the table, the ones playing too many hands and take advantage of them. Don't try to be fancy, but rather make it a goal to play good, solid poker.

Give yourself a chance to be good. Losing all your money isn't giving yourself a chance. If you aren't willing to do the right things to make this work than you're better off just accepting that you're a recreational player doing this for fun and expensive thrills. :)

You have to find you leaks why you are losing.

You might using the wrong moves over and over.

Agree above. With such result, have to play the lowest stake and apply Bankroll Management to minimize losses.

I am just going to assume you will be hesitant to start at the lowest stakes, because most people feel they are "above" that. But I will combat that typical mindset with the argument that if this is true; and you are indeed a good player, you will crush these lower limits regardless of how big of a circus the micros are. :) There, I await your reply.

How much time are you devoting to improving your game? You said you have read a lot of books and watched videos, but have you also spent time regularly reviewing your hands and applying what you have learned to fix your leaks?

After 4 years of losing money, I would say that it may be a good time to invest some money in coaching / schooling. Use some of the money you would normally be logging at the table to help improve yourself.

Analyse your hand history. You fix your leaks off the tables, not while you're playing. Doesn't matter how many hands you play, if you keep making the same mistakes you're not going to improve. Simple as that. If you feel you're not confident enough in your poker abilities to see the mistakes you make, hire a coach for some hours and have him go through your database. I'm sure he will find leaks. It's a good investment.
You also seem that you want to be making money off of poker as soon as possible. If this is the case, Stop. This is self sabotage. Rushing through stakes will cost money. Believe me, I've done it. It's not going to happen over night. It's not going to happen in a week. It's going to happen in a month. It will take time and effort to make a living of playing poker. Lots of it. There's no quick fix to get from 2nl to 200nl in 6 months.Lose the ego, step down to 2nl and fix the your main leaks. At the micros, you fix your leaks pretty much for free compared to losing hundreds of dollars at small stakes( dont get me wrong. i have no idea if this is your case. I wrote this just in case any of this resonates with you).
I will give some resources to study from, it might help you.
For books, read Crushing the Microstakes by Blackrain79. You might know this book, but just in case you don't, well now you do: http://www.blackrain79.com/p/book.html
There's also a youtube channel great for getting you thinking proccess clear. I will post a link to one of his videos that might help you the most: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPtVEfuUdkk

If you are losing $100's, you maybe playing at too high of a level. If so, go down and learn the game from there. Also like has already been said, you have to do Bank roll management. I would also say for you to read all these replies, and use the advice. What you are going through, has happened to me and many more players here. Also, if you are losing that much, you may be having tilt problems. Being in control of yourself is one of the most needed things you have to work on to play good poker. GL

Hiya Fritz. As PapaC says the most important thing you can learn is Bankroll Management. That will stop, (or help at least!!), you losing all that money. The next thing I would suggest is to change your mind set - Don't think you will regain all your loses in one go. I would also suggest you change your method - perhaps spend some more time reading and learning, try to find out all your leaks, and change them.

I personally do not play much "cash games" but prefer tournaments, I generally think you get more value for money with tournaments. Gl with your endeavours, read some of the threads on here and that will be a good way to start your re-training. Marc :D:D:D

In my opinion, you need to decide what kind of game you lies (Chas, or SNG tournaments, etc ..) If you did you decide to just sit down and play a buy-in table where the 400 times the buy-in you have! The management bakroll extremely important !!!!!! If you drop your bankroll, then you can lower buy-in tournaments to play !!
The main multi-table game! Aszatl at least 10-15. This amount must be learned not immediately, but soon. Of course it also depends on what your goal. Earn money online poker is not fun, but very hard work !!!!!!
I hope I was able to help you!
Good luck! The river be with you !!!!

You gotta calm down, maybe sometimes you let the angerness drive your moves. Have a cold head and think twice, tournaments would be cool for you

It takes years of experience to master the game of poker. You said you have only been playing for 4 years. What i think you should do is, start playing in free tournaments, or sit an go's until you feel more comfortable about playing for money again. Otherwise you may just continue to lose more money. Good luck!

It sounds like you have a good knowledge of the game. I think what you should be focusing on is winning habits. Not just in poker, but in all aspects of your life. Losing and winning are both habits. If you have been losing for a few years, somewhere deep inside, I bet you have conditioned yourself to expect to lose. I think you would be surprised of what happens if you reprogram your brain.

Just try not to deposit again, you should deposit money when you ll be sure that you have that skill, that can allow you to win money, maybe you should try to play tournaments...

But sometimes it happens that poker is not just yours, some people do something good, some bad, you can try yourself in something else.
