Hi. I'm very new to poker (I'm playing for virtual money since one week).

I'm playing OMAHA Hi-low.

I'm trying to play very careful (very tight-passive) and entering to game only when I do have premium cards. On average I play about 15 hands per 100. Also I fold often even when I'm in game to limit further looses.

I never sit to table with more then 50BB, and sometimes I'm loosing it all.
When I got nuts i play for max (thats why u see spikes on chart).

Here is BB chart:

Questions:

1. Is it a valid way to play in way I'm currently playing?
I would love to hear some hints about building bankroll etc.

2. According to my research Omaha Hi-Lo is safer (less chance to bankrupt) to play then Texas or Omaha No Limit - is it true?

I do not believe so. This is a better strategy for playing SnG Omaha Hi/Lo. You should try it, if you do you should also limp in here and there while to blinds are low and your hand is fair for some nice action on the flop. Typically a good strategy to Pot limit is not to raise unless your sure you have the nuts. Omaha hi Lo is not the type of game where you want to push your good hands pre-flop because there are many cards in play, instead focus on limping in with fair to good hands and striking after the flop when you have the nuts.

Very brutal game...that's why I love it so...just a quick word to the wise do not bet unmade low hands...IMO this is the biggest mistake I see made at the tables at which I have played...will get you into trouble very quick...and I agree strongly that pot management is essential....good luck
