Because you like all beginners were advised to get one , it wasn't some rational thinking on your own part
The next bit is where you have been corrected before and still keep blurting out the same nonsense
Rational Madman hasn't used any of these programs and is talking without any knowledge. The companies behind PT4 and HM2 merged into a single company a couple of years ago , neither of them bought out the other. HM2 and PT4 both have the same graphing abilities and post game analysis abilities and they are basically a case of whichever style you prefer to use.
I've not used DriveHud but it appears to have the same abilities as HM2 and PT4 but for a beginner its fairly cheap to acquire
because it is so limited in what it can do. It is also extremely expensive relative to what it can do and the sites it works on. It will cost a beginner the same to use drivehud for a year as using Jivaro for 2 months.
frankly forget Jivaro , its limited and expensive to use long term. The best advice is to use all of the one month free trials on all the huds you can find and use that time to decide which one is the best option for you.HUDs that i'm aware of are
- jivaro
- hand2note
- xeester
- drivehud
- pt4
- holdem manager 2
Holdem manager 3 is currently being tested in beta and anyone buying HM2 now gets a free upgrade when HM3 is released. HM and PT have typically had a 5 year life cycle before a paid upgrade is required which should be factored in when comparing monthly, yearly subscriptions vs purchase.
