A good player will make the right plays no matter how many tables 1- 10.
What is your assertion based on?
I have heard a number of very successful players say that they can only play around 4 tables very well.
There are multi-table grinders out there that can play 24 tables, but I am sure the don't play them as well as they could play at 5 or 6.
the number of notes you can take, the attention you can pay to each players tendencies, and notes that you make are all harder to do at 10 tables than it is at 1.
I think that is one of the reasons you can have a better edge and higher winrate at live poker than you can in
online poker.
I can only play 4 tables well at most stakes, If I am playing at 400nl I would only play 1. because the players there are more focused and there are some super good players that can really abuse you if you are not paying enough attention.
That being said, if you are getting bored playing 1 table then you need to pay more attention during
hands you are not involved in and should be taking notes. If you can do that well on 1 table, then try 2, so on and so forth. I don't think anyone plays their A game at more than maybe 6 tables.
