Ease of multitabling comes with time. The more you do it, the more you will realise what is important to pay attention to and how to divide your time better. It will be difficult moving from 1 to 2 to 4 to 6 to 9 to 12 to 16 etc but once you practise it, it will happen and become easier.

if you can not focus your attention in one table, then you han better give up play in multi table, because focus in playing poker is very important.

I have the same problem mate, one and two tables I am fine with, but I tried three the other day I started getting confused and timed out on a couple of hands, then things all went horribly wrong. I have done a bit of reading online about it and the general opinion I get is it is one of those things that you just have to practice and work your way up, starting with one.

Just practicing and gaining experience is the best thing. Once you're comfortable and confident in your abilities, add another table, see how it affects your game, make adjustments, drop a table if you need to. It just takes time. Using a HUD while multi-tabling is very helpful, too, I don't know if you have one or not.

Multi-tabling is a very important skill, it lets you get more volume in, which is the key to scoring a profit in online poker.

I four table .02/.05 rush profitably. And, what you want to be able to do is understand odds really well. I calculate my odds in a second and then I just have to remember the play that's happened up to that point. Honestly I'd recommend that you become really familiar with pot odds/implied odds, and then just get good at calculating it quickly... And that come from experience and reading lots of books/articles... Plus everything else everyone else has said. :=)

Also, play in position... I can't stress how important that is.

Are you sizing your tables so they all fit on one screen, or stepping/cascading so they only pop to the front when its your turn to act?
Seems a simple solution, but Its much easier sizing them and putting them side by side if you don't already.

Thats what my #1 multi-tabling problem is, if I resize lets say 6-8 tables to fit my screen they're so tiny I can't handle it. My monitor(and pc), are ancient so I have to cascade and this can result in mis clicks when the windows pop up.

So I multi 4 tables max and shrink them all to about 40% of the screen, while making sure none of the buttons overlap.
