It really depends. If you have a lot of time to sit and be patient in a mtt, you can make it to the bubble and hope to get lucky a few times along the way to make it to the final table. However, in a cash game it can be short and sweet because depending on the skill level of your opponents at the table, you might be able to make a profit in a very short time because you can leave at anytime you wish since you don't have the time commitment required in mtts.

I think that you need to try both kinds of game yourself. Play what you like more.

I do not think that someone knows the answer to this question. Each discipline is heavy in its own way and it all depends on the skills

re: Poker & mtts or cash?
A lot of factors are involved here: game experience, distance, psychological preparation, etc.
MTT is a very dispersive game. Cash games have an advantage, because the variance is less than in MTT. So if you want stability, then play cash games.
The question of time is very important. If you can afford to play only 2-4 hours a day, then cash games for you will be optimal. Well, if you have 5-10 hours of time every day, you can choose MTT.
Choose the game, that you like best and more suited to your style.

You have to play both, with the cash you can gradually increase your bankroll ... as for the MTT the big prizes are at the final table, so if you manage to get to it you will be easier to develop because you already have experience in Cash games
