Actually it might be a combination of the two, more hands and weak players. That is a deadly combination for suckouts. Play long enough online and suckouts will still hurt, but they should slide off your back a little easier.
I don't think there are more weak players online though (but I guess it obviously depends on what games we're making reference to).
Eatin' just a ton of badbeats again today & maybe you've got a point here cuz I'm having a tough time stomaching them
Seems like they can make ridiculously bad calls & then ketchup & relish in their luck (ie. cbetting flop w set/overpr... shove pot-sized bet on turn & get called by a weak draw that's not getting anywhere near odds
to make the call).
At least I now know why I'm feelin' sick eatin' these beats (obviously cuz they're inedible)
