Look at the stakes.. double the bigblind.. so if its 1/2 ..
4 is the cost to play a hand
then divide your bankroll by 50 if you cant play 50
hands at the cost..Then stay
on your table.. you can also reverse this operation.
IF its 5/10 Stakes.... 10*2 = 20 20*50= 1000 if your bankroll is 1000 play the 5/10 table. So on..
Choosing the table is important as well... typically the table with less players is going to increase your profit rate...
If you sit at a table with 5 seats.. your
odds of winning are 1/5 vs 1/8
Set a goal to either double up or meet the cost to play for the next stakes table available.
If for some reason you fall below half of your buyin.. it's a good Idea to re-evaluate your situation and demote yourself (showing control is important.. if doubling up means breaking even.. you're doing something wrong)...
Once you start making money initially you will see a trend of going way up. loosing a little.. going way up.. loosing a little going way up...
That's my 2 cents to add to your $250
If you do this in theory you could go from 250 to 7000 safely in about .. 40-100 hands.
