Two days ago, I visited casino and played 5/10. I started with 30 blinds and got upto 50. But when dealer changed, I decided to move to a different table. Dealer told me that I can't move. I told her that I'm moving because I don't like her. Reason for this was because last few of my horrible bad beats that I remember, she was my dealer. I just couldn't stand this dealer. I couldn't stand it to the point where I would probably fold pocket Aces pre-flop since I know she's gonna flop bullshit for random donks or give miracle turn/river cards for other people. I talked to the floorperson. He said it's not tolerated but he still granted my request and moved me. I told him the reason why I wanted to move and he told me that it's part of casino policy. He told me unless I'm moving to a higher or lower stake, I'm not allowed to move to different same stake table with the chipstack I have on current table. I told him that I'm moving because I hate this dealer.
I usually stay in one table and play for a long time but two nights ago, watching her dealing me cards made me want to fold every hand or every nuts. I even folded pocket 2s from a button in an unraised pot. I would probably even fold flopped nuts because she f--ked me over so many times in the past. If I flop nuts, my opponents will get runner-runner miracle cards to get superior hand. I mentioned about my bad beat on this forum long time ago where I had pocket 6s and my opponent had AcKs and flop was 6c7cKd. My opponent who had TPTK gets his running flush. Another bad beat I can remember where she was my dealer was the time when I flopped a straight and my opponent with TPTK gets running flush. I had 8c10c and flop came out all rainbow 79J. My opponent who had JK diamonds called my all-in bet and hit his running flush. When I recall my bad beats, she was my dealer.
Anyone know a reason why you're not allowed to move to different table in casino? Online, you can move to different table or do whatever you want. But in casino, they have policies where they won't let you move to different table with current chipstack u have in current table. I think it's very ridiculous. It's not like I had monster stack and decided to join a table full of short-stack to grind up/bully their chips because the different table I moved to had people who had nearly amount or more chips than me.
I ended up coming out even with 50 dollar profit(5 blind profit) because I was card dead towards late night and decided to come out while I still have my money. But I'm surprised why casinos won't let you move to different same-stake table when I barely have over two times the minimum buy-in during that time.
