Hello everybody.
I though I'd share what I have found to be the most useful tool for my game. Some of you may already use it, but others may not.
The program is called "Stars Helper"
Very similar to Pokertracker, there's a usable HUD, but that's not the big deal for me as I already have PT.
The biggest feature in StarsHelper is the part that turns your chips/dollars into a simplified BB value. So, if I have $5 at a 5NL table, my stack shows as "100". If I do the same at 2NL or any other cash game, my dollars don't matter, my BB do.
For me, this removes any fear I may have of losing a large stack, and effectively "removes" money from the game.
The same is done in tournament poker, but I've found it most beneficial in cash games.
They have a 30 Day free trial and I am really enjoying it. So, if you feel you're playing scared because of the money, change the figures.
Thanks,
TheContinuer.
